Which details Canopy Play keeps, and for what purpose. Last updated 28 October 2026.
What we keep
- Account: email address, the player name you chose, your password stored only as a salted hash, the sign-up date and originating IP address.
- Play: the timing and result of every run, a log of points gained and spent, claimed daily rewards, and cash-out requests with where they were paid.
- Support: the message itself, the sender name and email, and the IP address.
Why
To run your account, add points, spot fraud and duplicate accounts, send payouts and answer your messages. Nothing is sold to data brokers, and the site carries no ad-network code.
Who sees it
Payment providers (PayPal, the gift card supplier) receive only what a payout needs; public authorities get information solely where a legal duty applies.
Cookies
Only a single, essential session cookie is used; it keeps you logged in and protects forms. Fonts, scripts and images are all served from this domain.
How long
As long as your account is open, then only as long as bookkeeping rules and fraud prevention require.
